My Freshman Nickname Saturday, August 16, 2008 Ok, so a couple of days ago, it dawned on Tyler, my 12-year-old brother that he's going into the 8th grade. I mean, he had ALL of 7th grade to prepare for it, and ALL of summer break to dread it, but when I told him that school is starting in a couple of days for me, he realized and said, "Oh my gosh! I'm going to be an 8th grader!!!" :D and he made this horrified face. THEN he looked at me with a disgusted face and said, "You're going to be a HIGH SCHOOLER?!" Hah! Yes Buddy, I really really am! Then his expression softened and he got this sly look on his face and he nearly whispered, "You're going to be the Fresh Princess of Fresno." Again, hah! Whatever he meant by that, it stuck, and now I feel like making my own theme song! Iiiiin Central California, born and raised..... ^-^ |
